1. SaaS Subscription Refunds & Setup Fees
ThaliPay operates a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. Subscription options include Monthly and Annual plans:
- Monthly Plan: Subscription fees (₹2,000/month) and the one-time onboarding setup fee (₹1,000) are strictly non-refundable.
- Annual Plan: The Annual subscription fee is ₹15,000/year (with free onboarding). If you are unsatisfied, you may request a refund within 30 days of your initial activation. If approved, a partial refund of ₹10,000 will be issued to your account.
- Fair Use Refund Conditions: To prevent system abuse, the 30-day Annual refund is strictly contingent on minimal system usage:
- The restaurant must have processed fewer than 50 customer orders in total.
- No more than 5 raw material ingredients/recipes must be registered in the inventory ledger.
- No digital payment gateway transactions via Razorpay exceeding ₹1,000 total volume have been settled.
2. Zero Hardware Policy
ThaliPay is a 100% cloud-native web application designed to run on your existing smartphones, tablets, or computers. ThaliPay does not supply or sell physical POS hardware, printers, or tablets directly. Consequently, no hardware return or refund terms apply.
3. End-Consumer Food Orders
For customers ordering food from a restaurant using ThaliPay technology:
- All food sales are final.
- Refunds, replacements, or cancellations for food orders are at the sole discretion of the restaurant where the order was placed.
- If a restaurant approves a refund for an online payment, ThaliPay will process the refund back to the original payment method. The refund may take 5-7 business days to reflect in the customer's account depending on the bank.
4. Process for Requesting a Refund
To request a refund for an Annual subscription within the 30-day window, please email us at info.thalipay@gmail.com with your restaurant details, registered phone number, and dashboard usage overview. We will verify usage and respond within 2 business days.
